Authorship Criteria

JCSR requires authorship to reflect substantial scholarly contributions to the work. Being affiliated with an institution, holding a senior position, providing general supervision, or providing funding alone does not automatically qualify an individual for authorship. Authors should have made a substantial contribution to one or more of the following: the conception or design of the study; the collection, analysis, or interpretation of data or source material; or the development of the manuscript's substantive scholarly arguments.

All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission to JCSR. Each author should be able to identify their contribution and cooperate in addressing questions concerning the accuracy or integrity of the work.

Corresponding Author

The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the journal, ensuring that all authors have approved the submitted version, providing accurate author details, and coordinating responses to editorial queries. The corresponding author must confirm that all eligible contributors are appropriately acknowledged and that no individual has been included as an author without a legitimate contribution and consent.

Contributors and Acknowledgements

Individuals who contributed to the work but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately, with their permission. Their contributions should be described accurately.

Changes to Authorship

Any request to add, remove, or reorder authors after submission must be explained to the editor and agreed to by all affected authors. The editor may request written confirmation before approving the change. Authorship disputes may be referred to the relevant institution where appropriate.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the author list and contribution statements accurately reflect the work performed.
